The Early Learning Lab is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Behavioral Insights Team to support organizations working to improve early childhood development outcomes for children and families.
Together, the Early Learning Lab and the Behavioral Insights Team will offer services including research, program and intervention design, testing and measurement of interventions, field capacity building, and publications and events.
The Behavioral Insights Team (BIT) started in 2010 inside the UK Prime Minister’s Office, as the world’s first government institution dedicated to the application of behavioral science. Now a world leading social purpose company, their mission is to help organizations apply behavioral insights in support of social purpose goals, and to rigorously evaluate what works best in achieving social impact. Some of their recent work includes partnering with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to use SMS and YouTube content to encourage Syrian refugee parents of preschool-aged children in Lebanon and Jordan to engage with early learning materials.
We are excited to leverage our shared expertise to help the early childhood field help young children and families thrive.
